fairy tales

I'm writing this coz of an event that happened yesterday

the event was an inter-college English drama competition

the theme was "Mixed Fairy Tales" where they were supposed to combine at least two tales into one story

and I got a bit annoyed and irritated as they got the term mixed up

especially to the organizing committee

just because a story was made into a cartoon and produced by Disney or DreamWorks or others

that DIDN'T make it into a freaking 'fairy tale'

Tarzan, Mulan, The Lion King and The Prince of Egypt weren't fairy tales

they were just tales...of moral and such...

especially Mulan and The Prince of Egypt

one was based on legends, the other on Exodus

which was clearly not a fairy tale

and they had the gall to call those 4 'famous fairy tales'

and I was like; "what...the...hell.?."

and furthermore, when there were mentions about the god and goddesses of ancient time

they were MYTHOLOGY...not fairy tales...

Norse, Greek, Egyptian

Thor, Zeus, Ra

well, since it was 'mixed' maybe they 'could'... @_@

~sigh~

I know, I know...stupid of me to rant on something like this

but it's just sooo infuriating.!.

if you want to organize something, make sure you do it right

sure...we make mistakes...

but when you have lots of people working together,

how come not a single person notices...

ho-hum

and by the way...I still couldn't believe the plays that confused me and several others won something...

things that make me go ~doki~doki~

top 5 things that make me go "damn, that's hot" / "aaahhh...sooo cute" / "ooohhh...yeah" and other similar sayings..-wink-...well, basically those that get my heart thumping fast...it'll go ~doki~doki~

(and I don't mean just stuff or items...I also meant people, animal, happenings, anime and others... ;p ...)

1.     bad but romantic characters...with husky voices and gorgeous everything...for example, Chuck Bass and Damon Salvatore...they are the chara that always want to interfere or plot against others...but once they fell in love...damn...cutest, most romantic thing ever.!.-drool-

2.     cute manga and anime characters...in manga; Conan-chan and Nel Tu...in anime; Pikachu and Togepi...I'll go all gooey on them when the little ones cry and laugh...hehe

3.     hot and dark looking manga and anime characters...too many to name...but basically those lead chara that have a dark aura around them and they rarely laugh and smile...

4.     cute innocent looking girls...especially those that have the punk-ish, rock-ish, emo-ish look on them...and if they happen to talk with British accent...that will be waaayyy better...

5.     two very attractive people making out...in the series or movies that I like to watch...girls with guys or girls with girls...-wink-wink-...nuff' said...

just read a person's post about how

don't wanna be in particular places, at particular times
saying particular words.....

it made me think

what if I can turn back time

...

what would I do

...

where do I wanna be

...

how would I change my past

...

~sigh~

I just hope I could make everything better

not saying I won't make mistakes

coz some mistakes are important as we learn from them

I'm just saying how I should do certain things

and how I should not do certain things

make everything as perfect as can be

ho-hum

FESTIK 2012

well, it has been about 2 weeks already

but I just got the time to write about it

I was involved in FESTIK 2012 this semester

it was a theater competition between UPM's colleges

it was very fun and exhausting at the same time

my college, K16, made a theater performance entitled "Pattani...Di Sini Bermula"

it was about how Islam got into Thailand in the olden ages

and our production was called

'LakuLayar Production'

I acted as the queen...and the right picture was the throne where the king and I sat

it was a bit precarious...kept moving when the king get up

I just had very few lines, but was in almost all the scenes

not very good with my facial expression

as they said I have a 'smiley face' and they wanted a stern queen

heee... >_<

these were almost everyone in the production...

the two guys standing up was the king (purple) and his father (died in the 1st scene)

the dancers (girls in red and yellow) were really great

they were the ones that made our performance really interesting

this was us after the performance...my hair was damn stiff... ;p

from the left; me, my daughter the princess and the dayang

Mak Inang (supporting herself on the elbow) was also the life of the performance

she was really good for her character and very funny

XD

 the 'fire' was the prop that I liked the most

they were very creative in making it

but sadly, it didn't light up properly during the play... :(

and all those ornaments were the queens

my head feels very heavy as all of these were of good quality

feels like wearing real gold

these were some of the other colleges performances that I went to

from left

"Gejolak" by KOSAS, "Jangan Bunuh Sam" by K12, and "Devian Dogma" by KPZ

KOSAS won the award for Best Actor

K12 got to be the winner out of 16 plays and also Best Director and Best Supporting Actor

KPZ got Best Publicity

 and this was me on the award giving night

the theme was 'explosion of colours'

I tried really hard to find a colourful dress

but all in vain coz it just wasn't my taste

sure, I like colourful accessories

but I prefer black/dark clothing

heee...

 and this was when we were at Putra.fm

a radio station by UPM

we were recording our play to be aired through the radio here

it was very exciting as it was our first time going in a place like this

all in all

it was 1 awesome month (March)

and I hope

more awesome thing will come

it was a very 'interesting' night
so many calling and texting
and crying (-eyes rolling-)
with so many emotions
first I was happy
then sad
and then happy again
and then annoyed
and then pissed off
and then 'in-the-zone'
and then happy again
and a lil bit irritated
and back to sad
and now, I'm just trying to be calm

shop till you drop, with friends

these past few days, I've been shopping quite a lot

more than I normally did

but most of them were stuff that I really need

and only a few were stuff that I want

things that I need were like

facial wash, foundation, compact powder, hair clip...

and things that I want were like

dress, bracelet...

well, the best thing was that I managed to buy a dress

after quite a long time

and I'm gonna try to find another and another and another

hehehe...

and this was the week where I'm out with lots of my friends

the most stand out was my outing with SHASHA

she's one of my besties and it has been more than

a year and a half since I last saw her

she's 4 months pregnant now

can't wait to see her cute baby.!.

but I secretly hope for a girl

hehehe
