Hye! It has been awhile, huh...

Hello, Blogger world. I think it has been more than two years since I updated you? Damn, that is long, huh. But don't worry. I am still documenting the things I have been up to. But right now, I use more Instagram though. Photos and captions. Not even a lot on FB or Twitter. Maybe to reiterate what I have already posted on Insta. But I do think I should be active again in you. Maybe once a week would be enough. Writing things down helps me a lot in letting the creative juice falling. Sometimes it's good to write down nonsensical things, huh. On another note, I'm thinking of creating YouTube videos on things I'm doing, going through or just random thoughts. Maybe it will be once or twice a month thing. What do you think?

By the way, I am currently in Fukuoka, Japan. Where my boyfriend is from. Staying at his sister's apartment. It's such a neat place. Exactly like how I imagined it would be. I'll post more soon with selected photos from my trip in Japan. Of course, I'm gonna post on Insta, but you can write a whole lot more here. A whole freaking essay. Hahaha.

well, this post is about me having awesome time with my quite big family during Syawal

well, we don't really care what the event was

all we care about is the time with each other

this is my small family

my small mixed-up family

with my 'funny' dad who is full of lame-father-jokes

my kinda strict mommy

my clueless but creative baby sis

and my ambitious baby bro

and yup

I didn't even bother to buy a new 'traditional' clothing for Raya

coz I don't really see the point as I'm not gonna wear it as often as I'm wearing my shirts and pants

in fact, that thing might not even be seen for years later

hahaha

 and this is me with some of my crazy ass cousins and my sis

love them all dearly

feeling pretty sad of coming back to Shah Alam

a couple of them are going back to London and Ireland

so, will be awhile till we can all meet again

ho-hum...

 this was when we were on the way back from Kak Koh's house

we wanted to take pictures with the cemetery as our background actually

but there were lots of mourners

so, we didn't want to appear disrespectful or anything

he fell down when he was playing with his friends in the bathroom at school

well, hope he learns his lessons

can't wait for all of us to get together again

for our annual R & R Family Day

heard that it will be in Terengganu this year

MacBee shooting

well, this happened in May...early May...

it was about a shooting of a short video for my friends' class...

the story entitled 'MacBee'...an adaptation of MacBeth...

these are the'crews'...well, accept for Far...she was the one taking the picture...heee...

and this was me as the director and photographer... >_<

 the friends that I was helping...it was for their class...

Lincha was the lead...as MacBee...she was the one who changed 'costume' a lot

the centre picture was after I've finished doing her make-up

and the third was when she (her character) was about to commit suicide

 Far as the gypsy fortune teller...and also the villain behind the murders...

Vivian acted as MacBee's hubby...she had to wear this jacket to hide her long hair...tihihi...

 and these were Anot and Eyla as the ghosts

they were murdered by the couple...

loved to watch when they acted out their ghost part

I was also the lawyer and one of the assassin...the other one was Lincha's bf

I was damn nervous being the lawyer...co I have to speak and all

being the assassin was easy...just do the action, and my face was hidden anyway

all in all, it was truly a great and fun day

we managed to finished everything in one day

and also glad to know that they got 2nd place and won the best setting, if I'm not mistaken

they also got other 'awards' but I couldn't remember now

hope we can do this again in the future

well, my b-day was long past...

but I wanna show the presents that I got

they are not much, but very much treasured

Anot gave me a black forest cheese cake...but it was just so delicious, I forgot to take a picture of it

FESTIK 2012

well, it has been about 2 weeks already

but I just got the time to write about it

I was involved in FESTIK 2012 this semester

it was a theater competition between UPM's colleges

it was very fun and exhausting at the same time

my college, K16, made a theater performance entitled "Pattani...Di Sini Bermula"

it was about how Islam got into Thailand in the olden ages

and our production was called

'LakuLayar Production'

I acted as the queen...and the right picture was the throne where the king and I sat

it was a bit precarious...kept moving when the king get up

I just had very few lines, but was in almost all the scenes

not very good with my facial expression

as they said I have a 'smiley face' and they wanted a stern queen

heee... >_<

these were almost everyone in the production...

the two guys standing up was the king (purple) and his father (died in the 1st scene)

the dancers (girls in red and yellow) were really great

they were the ones that made our performance really interesting

this was us after the performance...my hair was damn stiff... ;p

from the left; me, my daughter the princess and the dayang

Mak Inang (supporting herself on the elbow) was also the life of the performance

she was really good for her character and very funny

XD

 the 'fire' was the prop that I liked the most

they were very creative in making it

but sadly, it didn't light up properly during the play... :(

and all those ornaments were the queens

my head feels very heavy as all of these were of good quality

feels like wearing real gold

these were some of the other colleges performances that I went to

"Gejolak" by KOSAS, "Jangan Bunuh Sam" by K12, and "Devian Dogma" by KPZ

KOSAS won the award for Best Actor

K12 got to be the winner out of 16 plays and also Best Director and Best Supporting Actor

KPZ got Best Publicity

the theme was 'explosion of colours'

I tried really hard to find a colourful dress

but all in vain coz it just wasn't my taste

sure, I like colourful accessories

but I prefer black/dark clothing

heee...

 and this was when we were at Putra.fm

a radio station by UPM

we were recording our play to be aired through the radio here

it was very exciting as it was our first time going in a place like this

all in all

it was 1 awesome month (March)

and I hope

more awesome thing will come
